DBN Vidya Mandir, Mubarak Mandi, Jammu Honours Board Toppers in Felicitation Ceremony
Mubarak Mandi, Jammu, 22 May 2025 — DBN Vidya Mandir, Mubarak Mandi, Jammu, held a memorable Felicitation Ceremony to honour the outstanding academic achievements of its students in the JKBOSE Board Examinations 2024–25. The event celebrated not only marks and ranks but also perseverance, discipline, and the spirit of excellence.
The ceremony began with the felicitation of the Chief Guest, Mr. Ajay Khajuria—a renowned educator, accomplished writer, cultural ambassador, and proud alumnus of the school—who was presented with a token of appreciation by the school management.
Principal Mrs. Priya Singh shared the school’s impressive board results:
• Class XII: 28 students appeared, 3 scored above 90%, 15 secured Distinction.
• Class X: 35 students appeared, 7 scored above 90%, 15 earned Distinction.
The six board toppers were then felicitated:
• Shambhavi (Humanities) – 94.2%
• Tejasvi Pandita (Medical) – 94%
• Rishit Aggarwal (Humanities) – 94%
• Danish Gupta (Commerce) – 90%
• Aarya Sharma (Class X) – 97.8%
• Avni Nanda (Class X) – 97%
• Naman Sharma (Class X) – 96.8%
Each topper was invited on stage with their parents to receive awards from the dignitaries. In a special highlight, one of the toppers addressed the gathering, sharing her success journey and expressing heartfelt gratitude to her teachers, parents, and the school for their encouragement and guidance.
In his inspiring address, Mr. Ajay Khajuria congratulated the Principal, staff, parents, and students on the school’s resurgence. He fondly recalled his own days at DBN Mubarak Mandi and expressed pride in seeing the institution thrive once again. Referring to the mythical Phoenix, he described the school’s revival as a powerful rise from the ashes—stronger and more determined.
He urged students to work in silence and let their success speak, to stay rooted in patriotism, and to become fluent in Hindi, English, and Dogri—skills vital for confident communication and cultural identity.
The event was graced by Trust Manager Shri Rajendra Kakar Ji, Co-Manager Shri Darshan Lal Sharma Ji, Assistant Manager Mr. Valvinder Singh, Headmistress Miss Sunna Syal, dedicated teachers, and proud parents.
The ceremony concluded with a warm vote of thanks and an invitation for high tea, leaving everyone inspired and proud of DBN’s continued legacy of excellence.
